Hello Sugar Lovers!
So this weeks blog is going to be a little different. I feel like I say that all the time now. Well life’s a roller coaster so I’m not surprised. I have decided that I just wanted to have some fun and make some pre-made cookies. You know the ones I’m talking about. The ones in the tube in the grocery store. The cookies that everyone likes but won’t admin to.
Well I wanted to do this because it is lay off time from work due to the COVID-19 virus so I have a lot of time but not a lot of money. Ain’t no body got money to buy 10 dollar fondant and make fancy dessert at this time. So some easy and cheap blogs are coming your way people. Unfortunately that’s just how it is going to be for awhile but thanks guys for understanding.
Lets get to it people!
You will need:
- 1 tube of pre-made roll of cookie dough (I got mine from Walmart)
- 1 cookie sheet
- Baking non stick spray
So as you can guess this is going to be a quick blog. Your going to set your oven to 350 degrees. Your then going to cut up the cookies and place them on the cookie sheet. Put those in the oven for the specified amount of time on the package. The temperature, and time of baking could vary for each packaging. I put my cookies in for about 10- 15 minutes or so.

I found that whenever I make cookies the first one is pretty small and then they seem to just get larger from there. If anyone else does this please let me know so I’m not alone over here.

I was also told by my husband that he liked them but they needed to be a little bit more gooey. Needless to say that was an eye roll moment for me. Just eat the darn cookie man.
I have decided that during the cooking process I actually did a voice recording because I always seem to forget things in my blogs that I may have thought of in the moment. This really did help me when making this blog. This is why a YouTube channel is something that I think could be an avenue I would like to try. However I really do enjoy writing so I am still on the fence about it . Let me know what you guys think.
There you have it folks!

There was a part of me that did not want to touch on the virus at all. However I want to be honest with you guys so that you know why the blogs aren’t going to be so hot for awhile.
I also wanted to still do blogs as much as I can because there are a lot of people in self isolation, have lots their jobs or have the virus. If I can do anything to make this time a little less difficult and at least put a smile on your face I will be happy. Laughter is a great thing and I’m sure with how much I mess up in these blogs that you get a lot of that. If there is anything that you guys would like me to talk about let me know and I will try my best.
Please take care of your health and your immune system. Keep safe and I will see you guys soon for another blog.
Lots of love,
Your Friendly Neighbourhood Baker
